The 2018 Honda Accord has been given a completely new look. In other words, it has been redesigned entirely. So what does the 2018 Accord feature?
Design and Interior
We know that Honda’s are spacious cars. And with the past Accords, leg room has never been a problem. But the 2018 Honda Accord comes with an additional rear-seat legroom that makes the space even more spacious for just four passengers. Of course, active safety tech is standard. The whole package includes adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation and lane keeping assistance system. Added with that, there are many new technologies on the list to this car. These new technologies range from ventilated front seats and head-up display to LED headlights available with every engine and an 8.0-inch central touch screen. On the other hand, as an overview, the 2018 Accord has the body style of a sedan. The interior is, of course, magnificent and classy.
Engine and Transmission
The future accord is meant to set a new standard, and it might just do that. The new car comes with a longer wheelbase. The 2018 Honda Accord consists of a new engine line-up that begins with a 92-hp 1.5-liter turbo-four producing 192 lb-ft of torque. A 252-hp 2.0-liter turbo-four with 278 lb-ft is placed instead of the V6 option. Even though this has less power, it has more torque than the engine it is replaced with. Still available with both the engines is the six-speed manual transmission. Though most buyers go for the CVT on the Accord 1.5 model and prefer the new ten speed automatic with the Accord 2.0 model. The hybrid is the third Accord model that manages to maintain the same cargo area as the other non-hybrid models. That cargo area is a generous 16.7 cubic feet of trunk space.
